The right rear element on this cooktop will heat up but it seems that the temperature is difficult to control as it will either be on mostly a high heat setting, no matter if the switch is set to the medium or low ranges. Thanks for any help.

Replaced infinite switch with P/N 3149400 bought from Amazon.com as it was the lowest price I could find, online or otherwise - $16 plus $4.99 s/h. Just had to shorten the knob as per the included instructions. Cooktop now works as well as it ever did but it still won't cook my meals for me...
