Kenmore range clock (120010607R) display began going off intermittently (mainly off), so I had the clock assembly replaced. Same problem. Pressing or rapping on face sometimes turns it back on. Repairman checked harness and advised me to replace the clock again, which we did. Same problem.

Can anyone suggest a cure for this thing? Timer, oven, and everything else working fine, but it’s no fun guessing temps. Many thanks for any help.

Check your wire harness and connections and voltage going to your control board. Make sure you have 240v if it's electric or 125v if it's gas and make sure you have a ground wire going to the unit from the power plug. Make sure all connections from the cord to the unit are in good condition.
