hi all, i googled this for a while and no luck getting answers. i have a whirlpool top freezer fridge, about a few month old. the fridge came with a icemaker, which i do not use at all and just taking space. i have followed instructions found on youtube and removed the icemaker. the icemaker model is this: w10190952 the question i have is that is there anything I need to do in addition if i wish icemaker to be removed pemanently? right now i see a plug which is unused and a tube sticking out in the back. The compressor seems to be kicking on but seems to be running longer than usual. icemaker model: w10190952 the icemaker also had a harness on it, the black wire had something that clips into a slot on the icemaker itself. see pic harness model: w10309399 pic 1: http://img0100.popscreen...-wiring-harness-new-.jpg http://tinyurl.com/b5bfz96any advise at this point will be greatly appreciated. PS: as right now I have that harness taken off from the icemaker and connect just the harness to the fridge plug itself. i don't know if this is ok or not but the black wire look like have some sort of sensor in it....

Hi.
All you need to do at this point is to remove the wire harness from the refrigerator plug and attach it to the icemaker. Also turn the water supply to the fridge off - very important!
Simon.
