Need help on what to check. The dryer will run fine on air dry. The drum tumbles, blower works, ect. But when you select any of the heat settings, when you press and hold the start button, there will be a quick buzzing sound and it trips the breaker for the dryer outlet. Any thoughts?

There is a short somewhere in the heating circuit. You may want to check all parts in that circuit for continuity. They are: the wire harness and connections, the thermal fuse, the high limit thermostat, the flame sensor, the igniter and the gas valve coils.

If there is nothing wrong then the problem most likely is a bad control board.

Post the results.
