My kenmore 70 Series dryer model 11066722694 timer isnt moving, and wont stop on its own. we have to turn it off manually by timer knob or when we open the door it does turn off. When we close door we have to push button on panel to restart. It does heat and dry clothes fine. I have replaced the timer, but it didnt help. Are there any other parts that would keep timer from operating ???

Hello,

Check the inline resistor which should be attached to the timer. The normal reading should be about 5K ohms.

- The inline resistor Part number: 279872
Part number: 279872
