I hoping this is the best way to get the word out. I've been searching the net for a long time looking for a solution for glasses being left with bits dirt food etc. I've read everything from heater elements, filters, etc., and I'm sure all of them could cause this... Oh, then there's the hardwater excuse.

For the record I have the Maytag Quiet Series 200, but believe any washer where the upper rack has a male tube that plunges into a rear water channel could have this failure / easy fix.

Upon sliding the upper rack into the washer, the Male Tube plunges into a plastic fitting which has a rubber gasket. This gasket wears quickly allowing water/pressure to dribble down the back of the washer, and the spray arm simply doesn't have the pressure nor water to spray.

Hope this helps others.
