Hi All,
I have a freezer bottom Samsung. The freezer works fine but the fridge part is staying around 50-60. I took the plate in the back of the fridge off and the coil was frozen solid. I unplugged the fridge and let it thaw out. When I plugged the fridge back in, the compressor started up but the fan in the fridge didn't come on. The freezer went back to its set temp, and the fridge cooled down 20 degrees but is staying steady at 50 now. The display on the front says it is at the set temp, but an stand alone thermometer I put in there is saying its 50.
I replaced the fan motor thinking that was the problem but no luck. I pressed the top two buttons simultaneous to get the diagnosis from the computer and all the displays lit up (not sure what that means or if I did it right).
Anyone know what could be happening or how I should diagnose the fridge further?
