My friend's dryer starts but there is no igniter glow, no clicking as the solenoids should. It just turns the dryer barrel but no heat turns on? How to check if it's the igniter of the two solenoids are the problem? Or where else should I look?

Hi.

First of all remove the rear panel and check the thermal fuse for the continuity Part number: 3392519
Part number: 3392519

To do that remove one wire off it. If it's open (no continuity) - replace it.
The blown thermal fuse usually pointing to the restricted air flow.
Check and clean the chute and exhaust vent.

Post the results.

Simon.
