I need some help We have a Whirlpool MoD850SWPS3. I pulled out the Float, which i did not know how much damage it would, i was tyring to clena it out.So i pulled it out now the tube does not fill. I took off the kick plate, found a little nut. Saw the little float switch and flout housing.
How do all of these go back together???

Does the plastic float connect to the float switch with the nut that goes into the float housing? If so how do you keep the float nut stay away from the metal on the float switch.
ANy help is greatly appreciated.
thanks
Matt

I doubt it.
Usually the float shaft end just sits on the float switch actuator, closing the switch.
Look around underneath for another bolt end/spot that the nut may fit on.
Be sure to look at the bottom of the tub, a mirror may help here.
