My washer will not drain or go into spin cycle. When set to spin there is just a humming noise. I have already checked the lid switch and continuity is good so that is eliminated. Unsure of where to go from here. Any help?

Hi. First check if the drain pump gets 120VAC when set to drain. If it does check the drain hoses and pump for the restrictions. If there is no restrictions and hoses are clear - replace the pump Part number: 131268401

Thanks Simon. I worked that direction yesterday and now it is working. I think I unlodged a clog while taking things apart. One question: Can you run liquid plumber or similar through these machines to clean out the clog and soap build up? Recommendations?

Hi.
I wouldn't run any strong chemicals through the machine.
Simon.
