I have a Maytag French Door Refrigerator with Bottom Freezer Model MFI2568AES with an Ice/Water dispenser in the door. The refrigerator stopped dispensing water and ice. The front panel has power and the light is on. If I unplug the refrigerator and plug it back in water and ice will dispense once, then stop again. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Sounds like the problem is a bad dispenser control board.

- The control board Part number: 67006294

Hello Gene, I have similar problem. I disconnected the Cavity motor and mullion connector from the LV board (J3). It has a blue/white, Blue/red, Red/BLK. The ice flap does not open and close once I disconnected the connector. Problem is that the water and ice doesn't work and the LV Board would flash on and off. Basically nuts. I when into the program mode and turned on the cavity motor from off and it dispenses water but then I try the ice and it wants to...but goes back to the ice flap open and closes. I went back into the Program setting and the cavity motor resets to off. I read that others have replaced the HV board. Others the LV board. Once I reconnect to J3 it starts to flash numbers on the display and ice flaps open and close. I also talked to maytag and they say that no recall on this model. I believe so but they deny. Any suggestions?

Per the Maytag Service bulletin (attached to the post) the correction is to replace the HV control board.

- The HV control board kit Part number: 12920710
Part number: 12920710

Hello Gene, I checked the HV board and found two CD282 Aluminum Electrolytic capacitor popped. I ordered the capacitors and will soldier them in and give it a try. If no go... then I will order a new board. I will keep you posted. Thanks again.
