My GE side by side has had problems the last 2 weeks and not it has gottem worse. The water and ice dispenser on the door have been working on and off. When you have the water selected, and push your cup in, the water light will shut off and come back on, and the night light in the unit, used to dim, not it doesnt even come on anymore. Maybe trying to get water about 10 times, you may be lucky to get it 1 time out of the 10, but now it looks like it doesnt work at all anymore.
Same thing with the ice, you push your cup and the same thing.
Does anyone know what could be wrong with this unit?

Moist likely the problem is a bad main control board (on the back of the refrigerator). - The main control board Part number: WR55X10942
