About a two weeks ago, i noticed the water tray in the door was full. After dispensing a glass of water, i noticed that several drops of water would continue to come out of the dispenser after the glass was removed. Then two days ago, i noticed the water dispenser flowing water during the refill cycle for the ice dispenser in the freezer, as if the push valve for water was being activated.

This morning, while checking to see what might be causing the water to flow as described, i also noticed that there were frozen water droplets inside the freezer on the door, and packages closest to the door, as if the ice maker was splashing water during the fill cycle. The ice maker does work fine, as does the freezer.

Any one have a clue what the problem is and how to fix it? I would appreciate any help/advice. Thanks.

Thank you for your response. There were several numbers in the back of the unit, but the one on the receipt reads as follows: PSD243LGRW. The unit is a Performa, and was purchased in 2004. Let me know your thoughts.
