Ok, I am trying to replace the Transmission, pretty much have everything apart, down to last part to remove transmission, and underneath the washer is a warning label saying something about a spring and to read directions on how to disassemble..... I have no directions. It looks like I have to remove this black round assembly under the washer to get at the last three bolts holding the the black triangle bearing attached to the transmission. Help... if I undo the screws in the bottom, with the warning label, will it "F" things up? Is it gonna shoot out and take my eyes out?? I have come too far to give up now, how do I proceed to remove the transmission?

Is there anyway to safely remove the brake spring without the specialty tool? some kind of makeshift tool I can make, or something I can do safely?

does this thing have a clutch, or what makes it spin? there was belt wear (shavings around pulley, I attributed to transmission). The motor is running, the belts and pulleys are moving...
