The freezer gets cold but excessive ice forms at the top near the front center of the door, but not on the seal. I used to notice that it would pull a vacume when the door was shut and you heard the air being pulled out of it. I am not hearing that sound now. Any help would be appreciated.

There is no such pumps or something like that in the freezer. If there is nothing with the door seal then it could be because of hot and humid weather or the door was slightly open.
