Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/6/2012(UTC) Posts: 2		Tappan oven and broiler won't lite. Burners all work good. Igniter does not glow. I have replaced the igniter. Still no go. I've tried to set the oven temperature and then immediately check the voltage across the igniter. I believe I'm supposed to see 120 volts, but I'm getting nothing. Gas valve and control modules are expensive so I'd like to be sure before I replace either of these. Any ideas how to verify the problem?

Turn the broil on and check between BRL and N. No voltage - you have a bad control board. Here are the bad news - it's no longer available. Post the results. Simon.
