Help,

I started to dry a load of laundry. It was not a large load and when I started the dryer I noticed that there was no sound of clothes tumbling for them to dry.

I opened the door and sure enough the clothes had not moved. The heating element works fine. The inside drum does not seem to be rotating? What does that mean?

If your motor is turning it means your belt is broken, not an uncommon event.

I think on this model you can flip open the top by releasing two clips by placing a putty knife or screw drive in the gap between the front and top near the edges. The top should flip up, and you will notice the absence of a belt around the drum.
