Hello, I have a problem with my Kenmore Coldspot, the fan is running and the compressor is pretty darn hot, and neither the refrigerator compartment nor the freezer is cold at all. There is a constant clicking noise. I did vacuum out and blow out the ref. coils underneath and it did help long enuff to get a thin crust of ice in the ice tray but then it went back to un-happy mode....question I'm posing is do I need the relay switch (2-prong) or the starting device and which part numbers would I need to order. Please help...thank you....

Are your compressor start and overload one assembly, or two.

Yes, the start device for your fridg is AP3885081, you select one per the instructions supplied. You can test your old one, just stick a meter in the lower two pins of the old start device that plugs into the compressor, if 5 to 10 ohms, your old start device is ok.
If so, you probably have a bad compressor.
