I have a whirlpool quiet partner 2 - du950PWKQ1. There seems to be no power to the unit, no lights on the control panel.

With the help of previous posts from this site I have checked the following:
1) there is power to the unit, I tested 120 V using my meter and even tried a lamp to double check. I assume that eliminates all connections from the breaker to the unit.
2) I tested for continuity from the power lead to the door sensor, checked ok.
3) I tested through the door sensor and it seems to work as designed. With the sensor closed I have continuity, with it open, I have none.
4) from the door sensor I check the wire to the thermal fuse, checked ok.
5) I checked the fuse, there was continuity.
6) I checked the wire leading from the fuse to the Electric control assembly and it was fine.

Now I have no idea where to go from here. There seems to be continuity all the way from the power lead to the electric control assembly.

Is my control assembly bad? Is there a way to test the assembly?
This appears to be the assembly replacement

but I wanted additional opinions before I order a $150 part.

Thanks.

BTW, as an IT tech I usually help out on forums when people post with computer issues. I think its great to have a forum like this also. Great work.

Has anyone changed one of these boards before for this type of issue?
