I will be installing a new motor and impeller assembly for a KitchenAid dishwasher (when the parts arrive in a few days). The service technician removal/reassembly instructions that came with the dishwasher call for lubricating rubber components during reassembly, but don't specify the lubricant. Any thoughts about what the correct lubricant would be?

I would guess that a liquid rinse agent would wash away immediately, since this area would be exposed to water during the first and every cycle after. Am I wrong in thinking that "carefully lubricate all rubber components" (language from the technician's repair sheet) might mean something more durable/longer lasting than rinse aid?

Would silicone grease be called for in this application?

The lube is just for installation, once installed it don't really matter.
