The water was not pumping out of the washer. So I replaced the water pump. It still will not pump out. The motor shaft turns freely. What else could be wrong?

Hi,

Does the motor run during the drain cycle?
If not I would check the lid switch.

If the motor does run it is turning the pump so there maybe a restriction in the drain line, tub or the hose that is between the tub and pump.
