At the completion of cycle drain motor continues to run. It disables the control panel. After 4 or 5 days, washer unplugged, the motor stops running and washer is operational. GE repair person thought float is getting stuck since no error messages are on panel. He said he could replace control panel for $800 but he did not recommend that. He recommended running with no soap or dishes everyday for about a week. Since the on the 1st try I got stuck in drain mode again I never got to second try. Where is float located and how do I get it unstucked?

The first thing I would do is remove the toe panel and check the pressure switch (#158 on the diagram) and the pressure hose connected to the switch. Possible the hose is clogged.
