Have AMana gas range, during self cleaning mode the knobs above oven door began smoking/getting very hot. Could not shut down oven so turned off breaker. When breaker was turned back on oven displayed F9 error and will no longer work. Electronic ignition for gas range top is not working either - must light manually.

Please advise likely cause / cost to repair. Maybe I should just be shopping for a new oven?

Hi,

You may need to just dig into it and see if you can tell what started burning.

Here is the service manual for your range, maybe it will be helpful.
