I have a Maytag Atlantis MAV6200 series Washer. It fills, agitates, drains, all fine..but it will not spin. I have changed the belt and water pump, but this has not corrected the problem. Can you help me with this?

See if this technical bulletin will help

Also, check to see if the pulley will move in each direction, and operate the machine with the front off to look to see if the motor is turning and the belt turning in the spin cycle.

Good luck and let us know what you find.

Remove front panel and see if the tranny will spin when you select spin. If not and the motor is turning the pulley, you need to replace the thrust bearing washers. Part # AP4009132, should come with instructions, if not, go to web site www.applianceaid.com for info.
