I have a Kenmore Series 70 electric dryer. It is shutting off during the cycle and the back off the machine is very hot. I took the back off, shop vac'd the dryer, hose and blew out the exhaust with my leaf blower. Still shutting off in the dry cycle. Runs fine during the air dry cycle. Any idea??

Thanks,

Shawn

I suggest you take off the blower motor cover and inspect the blower and further clean out the system. Make sure there is no obstruction and the blower is operating correctly.

If this does not fix the problem, post the results along with your model number and we will go from there.

Good luck.
