Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/24/2009(UTC) Posts: 3		i have a duet whirlpool dryer. it is now squeaking--i can't tell if it is the belt or wheel. is it safe to spray the belt wheels with wd-40 or is it too flammable? i live in Panama, hard to find technicians.

You will need to pull off the front panel to get to these.

WD-40 is not a very good lubricant!! Do not go crazy with the oil as it will hold lint.

Regular oil will gum up and oxidize in the air. This might be available at Lowes.
