I have the Diagnostic sheet with the Automatic and Manual Function tests, Cycle map and Electrical schematic.

First I checked the water valve by removing the wires and applying an external 120V and the valve activated and water went into the machine.

Next I checked the Float switch and Door switch with a meter and they both activated properly.

Then I ran the manual function test and tried to activate the water valve. No water.

Finally I ran the Automatic function test. The water valve did not activate, but it showed a turbidity sensor failure. I didn't think that should prevent the machine from filling, so I ran the test again first manually putting in a gallon of water. I got the same result, Turbidity sensor failure.

My questions are:
Can the turbidity sensor cause the water valve to not operate?
(I hope not, because the turbidity sensor is not available)
Is there any more diagnosis I can do before replacing the circuit board?

Any Help is appreciated.

I looked at EMEDD's post from 12/08 and I had the same broken wires from dispenser to water valve. Repaired and working fine (but I still get Turbidity Failure). Thanks for the Forum.
