Our dishwasher will not run the cycle. The front control panel lights work, but when we hit start, the water will not start to fill to begin cycle. We replaced the valve and it is still not working. Does anyone know what we should look at next?

Your actual Model Number is KUDI01TJHW. The first I is an I not a one.
Kitchen Aid likes to confuse things be using I's and 1's in Model Numbers.

Here are your parts

Here is the tech sheet
https://www.servicematters.com/d...0Sheet%20-%208530866.pdf

Is the unit stainless or plastic tub?
You will notice on the tech sheet that the power in wiring is different.
On a plastic unit the control board looses power when the door is opened so it will rest each time. On a stainless unit it still gets power when the door is open so the only way to do a manual rest is to unplug it or trip the breaker.
If stainless try removing the power for half an hour or so just to see if it will reset in case the electronics are hung up.

If the only problem is that it will not fill, it could be the float switch.
Either the switch is toast or the float is stuck in the up position and the switch is not being activated.

Make sure the control lock is not on.
Try running different cycle types to see if any of them will work.
Try running the diagnostics see the tech sheet.

Might be that the start button is not closing.
