Frigidaire front loading washer started with a twisted and and torn door seal. Replaced that and noticed one of the springs holding the drum up was broken. Replaced that and noticed the shocks on the bottom had snapped off also. Replaced them. Then the drum wouldn't tumble or spin, goes through the cycle very fast. Followed the troubleshooting flowchart. Motor phases were all about 3 ohms. At start of heavy wash cycle, voltage from pin 5 read 120vac at 2 and 10 but 35 at 6. 1 and 9 were 120 and 50 respectively. According to the flowchart it was a defective timer. (which made sense as my wife was complaining sometimes it would stop in the middle and need to be 'nudged' from time to time.) Replaced the timer and the same problem persists. The only other thing on the flowchart is the speed control board but the voltage measurements (according to the flow chart) don't support it. Kind of pricey to be easter-egging... Any ideas?

Awfully hard to say given what has happened to it. The speed control board is the weak link in these machines and the likely problem but you will have to replace it to determine if it is the problem.
