I have a front loading washer, Frigidaire gallery model fwt449gfs2. It seems to be doing everything but the final high speed spin. I cleaned the drain hose, and found nothing. I am now guessing that this model has the secondary lock that engages prior to the final spin starting. Does anyone know is this is the case with this model?

Usually on these machines the problem is the speed control board, but it can be the locking system.

Look inside the lower service panel for info on how to test the speed control board, and check out the wiring and connections on the door lock assembly.

Turns out it was the lock. Very quick fix.

Were you able to replace the lock yourself?
If so how do you get to the lock? When I take the screws out of mine the lock comes loose but I don't see how to get to it????

You have to have the bottom panel of your washer in order to remove/replace the lock. Unscrew the lock, push it in and down. Reach in through the bottom panel opening and grab it. Unplug it and plug in new one, push it back up and line up with holes it came out of, screw back in.

Let me know if you need additional info.
