My refrigerator was defrosting every 2-3 days then cooling off again for a couple of days. This went on for 2 weeks. Since then, it stopped cooling off period. I've been reading other customers problems and they say that it could be the motherboard. Could this be the problem or maybe the defrost timer?

Remove the motherboard in the back and check for bad solder joints on the power relay. If bad, just re-solder with pc board solder available at Radio Shack.
If ok, remove the power connector on the bottom and jumper pins L1 to comp. as labled on the board. If compressor now runs, you have a bad motherboard.
