R&R wasn't simple. I had to use a Dremel tool to enlarge the mounting hole ¼" more to the right and tweak the clock mounting to the chassis, so the posts on the clock matched the glass. I did ground the one wire to the frame as described in this thread, so the self-clean works. The rest of the wiring was straightforward, but the heat-shrink wasn't enough, so a heat-shrunk terminal corner within one wore through and caused a giant 240VAC short to the chassis after a few days, producing a crater in the Formica behind the range, triggering the main house breaker. I had to re-do the heat-shrink over the terminals doubled, and ensure they floated in the space with no risk of chassis contact.

The clock now works fine, but is way too bright. Wish there was a way of adjusting it. Installation instructions are clear enough for a person with some technical know-how. Thanks for providing this thread.
