My GE side by side refrigerator goes in to defrost and stay on to long. It will do this randomly and all the food will defrost and the ice melts.I paid a service guy to come out and look at it. He said you need a new mother board. I purchased and new mother board from you guys (1 of AP4436216 (WR55X10942) - Main control board assembly). I put it in and the compressor and evaporator fan will not come on. Put the old one back in and it turns right on. So you guys sent me another board and the same thing happened(compressor and evaporator fan did not turn on. Please help I dont know what to do.

model # DSS25KSRE

I would check all your thermistors, fresh food and evaporator thermistor, should be near 16.3 k ohm in ice bucket for 5 minutes.
