My stacked washer and dryer were here when I moved in. I've had a repair man out and he says they are balanced, but he only tested them empty. He said that was how to test them. I try really hard to balance each load but there is only so much one can do. When the washer goes into spin mode it jumps and vibrates so much that I fear the dryer will be bounced off in the floor. It bounces forward but I stop it before it goes too far- an inch or so. I've tried everything I can think of. Any suggestions. There appears to be a plastic stacking tray in between them.

No No NO No No (as my very young grandson would say)

Since you paid for a service call, you need to get the service tech back out there and fix the thing without paying for another service call. If they give you a hassle about it, go the BBB route, the consumer protection agency in your state or locality route or whatever it takes.

Balancing should not be an issue.

Make em fix it
