:( I purchased the shaft and mode shifter assembly for my 2007 GE washer from appliance parts pros.

There is a large "hub nut" that secures the shaft to the inner drum. It requires a special wrench to remove this 1 & 11/16 "Hub nut" which I also purchased.

Problem is that even with this special wrench, the "hub nut" still won't budge. Tried spraying and soaking over night with liquid wrench, but still won't budge even when I use a hammer.

any ideas?:(

When I have a stuck bolt on my car I use a propane torch and heat the metal.... Or just get a bigger hammer

Oh and my GE hub nut is reverse threaded so clockwise to remove and counter clockwise to tighten if you didn't know that part.
