Is there any other parts needed or suggested to be changed while replacing the tub bearing and seal? I am mechanically inclined so how long should this task take?

Seal kit Part number: AP4390013
Part number: AP4390013

This kit is very often replaced along with the Tub Bearing kit (especially if it has been leaking a long time.)

Part number: AP4372971
Part number: AP4372971

Finally, to make the job easier, it is recommended that you purchase the spanner wrench for the tub nut. Part number: AP3538707
Part number: AP3538707
.

A pro can do the job in about an hour, as long as it hasn't been leaking and rusting a long time. You can plan on an afternoon for your first time. Also note that the thread on the tub nut is left-hand; You need to turn it clockwise to loosen it.
