Can anyone give me some insight on why my washer wont spin out. Everything else seems to be working fine. The lid switch seems to check ok using the wiring schematic supplied with the machine.

Howorth,

You didn't mention, wether the motor is running in the spin cycle.

As long as the motor is running and the washer drains in the spin cycle, you need to check :

The motor and slide plate assembly, make sure the motor slides free and easy.
Check the belt and pulleys (3) for excessive wear and tear.
If all is OK, repalce the Thrust Bearing Kit (follow the instructions carefully),

Part number: AP4009132
Part number: AP4009132

That's the most common failure for this style washer with spin problems.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)
