I wanted to check with you guys and see what you think I need for my GE Washer.

The issue I am having with it is that if I do a large load of laundry it will not spin. It will turn the inside tub maybe a 1/4 turn then nothing. The water pump is working properly and pumps out all the water, but no spin. If the load is on the small side then everything works perfectly! It is driving me crazy.

From reading various online help sites I have narrowed it down to the Motor, Clutch, Transmission, or Spin Bearing. If you have any other ideas let me know.

Thanks

Take off the front cover and remove the belt from the transmission pulley and see what happens in spin mode. If the motor is turning then the problem could be in the transmission/brake assembly. The brakes are inside the transmission housing and are not separately serviceable.
