Washer goes into spin and drain but does not always pump out water. When this happens if you push timer in and then restart it it will drain. There are no clogs. Motor sounds different when it does not drain, like it is not in the right speed. Starting and stopping washer and restarting cures problem.

Interesting, because there could be a problem with the transmission, the motor, the brakes or the pump.

The educated guess suggests that something is caught or broken in the pump, and that your first try at starting sorta primes it a little, and then it can come on full strength and pump out the water. I would try replacing the pump, but know that you might end up someplace else in the end.

Thanks. I will try pump as there are no clogs. Pump is cheaper than motor which is my 2nd idea.
