Tried to heat food in Microwave and it ran but didn't heat food. Also discovered that the turntable didn't rotate. Thru a DIY site I suspected one of the interlock switches was possibly involved. I applied a slight pressure to the door as it ran and it worked normally. Next I opened the microwave and checked that the latch was actually triggering the switches and they were being triggered. I used my resistance tested and the primary and secondary interlock worked normally. The interlock monitor switch never opened even with door closed. I took it out and ran the test again and it was opening when the switch was triggered, which appeared normal operation. I reinstalled it and the same result as initiallly found. The resistance test shows that the switch is always closed. Could there be another problem that I am overlooking? I am not an appliance guy but have a little knowledge of electric circuits and switches. I suspect the switch may not be the problem...Help me please.

Upon further playing with this microwave I now see the the problem in more in the latching mechanism. If I pull very lightly on the door as it's running, it functions normally. However if I just close it normally and run the microwave, it show the abnormal function. could something be out of place or worn out?

Most likely the problem is a bad door interlock switch. There are to such switches (upper and lower) in this microwave. They are absolutely identical. So if you would not be able to find out exactly which one is bad, just repalce both of them. They are shown as #29 on the diagram. You have to open the control panel to access the switches.
