My range (with controls in the front) has a bad switch that I need to replace. I've found the part (54A on the diagram) but I cannot figure out how to get to the underside of the control panel. I've seen answers for similar questions here, but the unit is different from mine. There are no screws on the side of the unit like there are on some others.

Thanks.

Disconnect the power first. Here's a parts breakdown of the backguard/control panel. Remove the knob to expose the retaining nut. Replace the switch by removing one wire at a time, and transferring it to the new switch (or label the wires and take a clear digital picture of the old switch and wiring before beginning).
