So the other day I started a load of clothes and went into my office to work for a while. After about an hour I though 'clothes should be about ready' and I went back toward the laundry room. There was standing water all over the kitchen and laundry room.

After some cleanup work here is what is going on with the washer -

The first fill seems to do fine. It stops filling when it should and begins to agitate. After the agitation, the washer goes immediately back to filling. However the tub is already full, so it just pumps water into the floor.

I'm not sure what could cause this. Seems like the timer to me, but I though I would ask the experts.

Thanks,

Carey

Carey,

There are several possibilities, The timer would be the least likeliest at this point.

But, a proper model and serial number would help a lot, in helping you.

Thanks,
