Just like the title says. It's not the bearings because I just changed them 3 months ago and the tub sounds fine when I turn it by hand. It spins fine. So any help would be appreciated. Laundry day is Monday!

Seems as if I placed this in the wrong forum. Can an Admin switch this for me?

Check out the motor control board near the floor on the right side. These have a high failure rate on the Neptunes. Maytag redesigned both the motor and motor control board to be more reliable. While inspecting this board, you are looking for a blown 10 amp fuse and /or burnt components. If you have either... then you will need the the new motor conversion kit which includes the motor, motor control board and the wire harness.

The motor is a three phase unit and you could lose on phase on the driver board which would cause the motor to not have the proper torque available. Usually the motor will groan when running on two phases.

Have you changed your door latch wax motor? For details to see if your Neptune has the defective wax motor goto MAYTAG NEPTUNE WASHER R11 Q6 REPAIR KIT + 12002535 WAX MOTOR.

Ok i checked the board and fuse is still fine and there are no burnt components. So should I just replace the motor?
