I bought this fridge and hooked the water line up to the back, when i opened the freezer I realized the water was just pouring in the back where it is entering the ice tray. The only way I could stop it is to turn off the main water supply. Does anyone have ideas.

Remove the wires from the water valves on the back of the refrigerator. If the water will still coming in, replace both water valves.

If the water will stop, replace the ice maker.

I've removed the dual water intake valve and will be replacing it at soon as the part comes in. I sure hope this is what is wrong.

There are two water inlet valves: before the filter and after the filter. Replacing just one of them could not fix the problem.

Looks like it was not enough. The second water valve has to be replaced too.

Every time you work with any electric appliance, you have to unplug it. If you unplug a refrigerator, you have to wait at least 10 minutes before you plug it back.
