Washer will fill but will not agitate spin rinse or drain. I have replaced the timer.

Does the timer advance? If not check your lid switch.

Do I have to purchase the switch assembly w/fuse? Would that be easier to replace than the switch itself?

Lid switch does not have a fuse. Switch allows 120v to go back to motor and operate. The lid switch is a saftey device to prevent people from putting their hands into the machine when it is running. To verify switch is bad, unplug from wall, unplug lid switch and place ohm meter leads across lid switch. Activate lid switch and verify reading goes to zero, if not replace switch.

I replace the lid switch. I still don't have anything. What else might it be?

Does the motor run? Did you check the belts?

When you said you replaced the lid switch - did you replace the whole assembly including the fuse?

Check this fuse and if there is nothing wrong then, most likely, the problem is a bad water level switch (#6 on the break down diagram).

These two switches on the lid switch assembly should be properly adjusted so when one of them is "open" the other one is "closed".
