I have read dozens of posts and can't find anything that would explain why my dryer won't run after replacing all of the parts. I replaced the motor, timer, thermal fuse and thermostat and all it does is hum and turn without the drum in when i hold down the start button. I have also checked the power source and continuity on all of the wires. Do you think I bought a bad motor?

Sorry but I do not understand the above, could you explain it differently.
The way that I interpret the above is that you get a hum and the motor turns without the drum installed. The hum may be just the normal running noise f the motor.

What was the original problem/symptoms with the unit?
What are the current symptoms?
Looking at the parts you replaced it could be a heating or a motor problem.

Sorry, the dryer stopped working so I started buying parts. It appears that the motor shorted out and burned up all of the parts. Now when I hold in the start button with the drum out the motor will turn slow but won't kick in and run. When the drum is in it just hums and won't turn the drum.

Sounds like you either received a bad motor or hooked it up wrong.

See the attachment for the tech sheet.
it should be useful to double check how te motor is hooked up.

The motor should go full speed with the drum out.
Make sure that the unit is set on a non heating cycle when doing this otherwise you could blow a thermal fuse or cutout due to no air flow over the heating coil.
