Last time I used it the water did not drain and now dishwasher will not do anything. Is there a reset of some kind to get it to run and should I bail out the water before trying to get it to run? What could be the problem(s)?
Thanks for any help.

Check for 120 VAC at the wall outlet for the dishwasher.

Remove the bottom panel and check the power cord connection at the terminal box.

Open the control panel and check the door switches. Make sure they are properly engaged when the door is locked.

Post the results.

Sorry to take so long to reply back an update on my problem. Life, ya know. (1) There is power to washer from outlet. (2) Checked power from bottom kick panel to buttons at top of door with a hot stick and power is present there. (3) Made door switch with panel off and door open an had power there and to timer dial.
Something makes me think it is a problem with the dial, control part # 3378578, but I have no volt meter to troubleshoot in depth.

Thank you Gene for all of your help and any more you could offer.

How did you check the power if you don't have a voltmeter?
