Getting error code 9E which the troubleshooting guide says can be door switch wiring, door switch, or control board . Resetting the power seems to fix the problem. Had the same problem some years ago and it was fixed by replacing the control board. I was hoping to repair this myself rather than hire the repairman. How do I test the door switch or do I need to bother?
Any suggestions?

I would check the door switch for continuity with a multimeter. If the door switch checks ok it may also be worth looking at the control board for bad solder connections before you order a new board. Here is the service manual for your washer. http://appliancejunk.com...ownloads;sa=view;down=68
