I have Myatag Ensignia mav7657eww. I ordered a new tub seal kit from searspartsdirect twice. Both times it has been threadless. It is part number 7 in this diagram. The 4 holes that you are supposed to use to attach the basket to the spinner are threadless. I thought maybe the bolts were supposed to kind of "drill" the threads as you drive them in but they just fall into the holes.

Maytag has redigned this part, as they often do and have issued a tech bulletin on how to put it in. Because Maytag will no longer allow access to the their tech bulletins I can only give you the number of the bulletin you need and suggest you talk to Maytag and demand, as an owner, that they get one to you. Here is the bulletin number TDL-0086-B
and here is what they say
Sept 2005 production introduced a one piece integral hub/with seal assembly.
The 21001868 seal kit that was used on prior models has also been modified with the new hub.
The new Integral Hub with Seal will update washer to current production parts. Refer to the parts catalog for ordering the correct replacement parts.
