Hello all,
I searched but could not find any information on attempting to repair my Roper fridge ice maker.
It's approximately 1.5 years that it has stopped working and I tried checking it out for any damage but could not find any signs of damage? How can I go about attempting to service/repair this ice maker?
I just replaced the agigator in my Roper's washing maching and feel like attempting to repair the ice maker again.
Thanks!

Hi again, so after reading numerous & numerous threads, my replacement inlet water valve came in and I replaced it to no avail???? Maybe i'm troubleshooting the wrong place but there don't seem to be any water making it past the inlet water valve going up the plastic tube up towards the ice maker??? My troubleshooting:
- Both original & replacement inlet water valve measures good on multimeter with ~ 337.4 ohms
- Plastic tube from inlet valve to ice maker is clear with no blockages
- I took the ice maker apart from the freezer and everything seems to be okay? Re-assembled and reinstalled in freezer
- My major concern, the connector wire that plugs into the inlet valve has 2 colors: white & brown, does it matter which way they are plugged into the solenoid on the inlet valve?
- Performed the continunity test on the ice maker module and it recorded the voltage of: 116.4v. It never got up to 120volts?
- The rim or frame of the freezer door is rather warm?
I am at an impasse and don't know where to go from here? Please help! Would be nice to get this working in time for Mother's day. Thanks.
